Scope, Inc. (“SeriesX,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides this Privacy Policy because we know that you care about how your information is collected, used, shared, and retained.

Our website at (the “Site”) is available to the general public (“Site Visitors”) for informational and marketing purposes. Our affiliate, Vertalo SEZC (“Vertalo”), provides a social networking and data storage platform (the “Platform”) at (or relevant corporate domain) and a general website at (the “Vertalo Site”), which are governed by a separate privacy policy and terms of use. We collect and use information (i) from our Site Visitors and (ii) the natural persons that visit, use, or otherwise interact with the Platform and/or Vertalo Site for purposes as authorized in writing by Vertalo (collectively, with Site Visitors, the “Individuals”).

By visiting our Site, Site Visitors agree to this Privacy Policy and the accompanying Terms of Use. Capitalized terms not defined in this Privacy Policy have the meaning ascribed to them in the Terms of Use.

Information We Collect and What We Do With It


We collect and use the following information from Site Visitors when they interact or link from our Site:

Contact Information: We collect contact information from Site Visitors that e-mail SeriesX via the Contact Us link or sign up for our blog feed/update form.

  • Contact Us: When contacting SeriesX, we will collect your e-mail address and its contents to provide the requested information, support, to enhance the Site, and put your e-mail on a contact list for future marketing messages to your inbox.

  • Blog/Update Form: By signing up for our blog or otherwise fill out our form to receive updates, you will receive our blog feed and other marketing messages to your inbox (see Direct Marketing below).

Direct Marketing: We will use a Site Visitor’s personal information provided to us through the Site, such as name and email address, for direct marketing purposes.

A Site Visitor may opt-out at any time from the use of the Site Visitor’s personal information for direct marketing purposes, and/or the transfer of such personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes by contacting us at Please allow us a reasonable time to process the request.

Further, a Site Visitor may manage receipt of marketing and non-transactional communications by clicking on the “Unsubscribe” link located on the bottom of any SeriesX marketing e-mail and following the instructions found on the page that the link brings the Participant to. A Site Visitor cannot opt-out of receiving transactions e-mails related to their account or purchases.

Usage Data: We collect information from and about the devices Site Visitors use to access and utilize the Site, such as through Google Analytics. This includes information such as IP addresses, the type of browser and device used, identifiers associated with such devices, and/or the web page visited before coming to our Site.

We may anonymize usage data and process it in aggregate form to operate, maintain, manage, and improve the Site. This aggregate information does not identify a Site Visitor personally. We may share this aggregate data with our affiliates, agents, and business partners. We may also disclose aggregated statistics in order to describe our Site generally to current and prospective business partners and to other third parties for other lawful purposes.

Google Analytics: Like most organizations, we rely on Google Analytics when a Site Visitor visits our Site. Google Analytics may use tracking technologies such as, but not limited to, cookies (see Cookie Data below) to collect information our behalf such as the Site Visitor’s IP address, Internet service provider (ISP), browser type, operation system and language, referring and exit pages and URLs, date and time, amount of time spent on particular pages, what sections of the website visited, number of links clicked while on the website, search terms, and other data. By accessing and using the Site, Site Visitors consent to the processing of data about them by Google Analytics in the manner and for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.

Cookie Data: We use technologies such as cookies and pixels to collect information from Site Visitors (including personal information), which we process in order to provide, improve, protect, and promote our Site. For example, cookies help us with understanding how Site Visitors are interacting with our Site, and improving them based on that information. Site Visitors can set their browser to not accept cookies. Please consult your internet browser’s documentation for information on how to do this, such as by using your browser in private mode to block cookies However, if a Site Visitor decides not to accept cookies, this may limit the Site Visitor’s ability to use the Site.

Additional Uses: We may also use contact information, cookie data, and/or usage data collected pursuant to this Privacy Policy to respond to general inquiries, solicit feedback or provide support for our Site, provide relevant content on our Site including advertisements, communicate with Site Visitors via e-mail regarding our current and future services, and administer our promotional programs.

How does SeriesX share information?

To the extent not mentioned above, we may share information from Individuals as follows:

Onward Transfer to Third Parties: Like many businesses, we hire other companies and individuals to perform certain business-related services. We may disclose personal information to certain types of third party companies and individuals, but only to the extent needed to enable them to provide such services. The types of companies and individuals that may receive personal information and their functions are: marketing, infrastructure development and support, analytics, data storage and hosting, information technology support, and networking infrastructure. We may also disclose personal information to our parent companies, subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under common control with us in order to support marketing, sale, and delivery of our services.

Third-party Websites: The Site may contain links to third party websites. Please note that such sites will be governed by their privacy policies, terms, and practices.

Governmental Access Requests: SeriesX may be required to disclose personal information in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including for the purpose of meeting national security or law enforcement requirements. We may also disclose personal information to other third parties when compelled to do so by government authorities or required by law or regulation including, but not limited to, in response to court orders and subpoenas.

Corporate Restructuring: In the event of a merger, reorganization, dissolution or similar corporate event, or the sale of all or substantially all of our assets, we expect that the information that we have collected, including personal information, would be transferred to the surviving entity in a merger or the acquiring entity. All such transfers shall be subject to our commitments with respect to the privacy and confidentiality of such personal information as set forth in this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy shall be binding upon SeriesX and its legal successors in interest.

Other Important Privacy Information

Security: SeriesX takes the security and privacy of the personal information that it collects pursuant to this Privacy Policy very seriously. Accordingly, we will implement reasonable and appropriate security measures to protect your personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction, taking into account the risks involved in processing and the nature of such data, and comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Data Storage and Transfer: Our database servers are located in the United States. If an Individual is located outside of the US, please be aware that any information provided to us, including personal information, may be transferred for processing from the Individual’s country of origin to the United States and other countries. An Individual’s decision to provide such data to us, or allow us to collect such data, constitutes such Individual’s consent to this data transfer.

Retention of Personal Information: We will retain your personal information in a form that identifies you only for as long as it serves a legitimate business purpose, or unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

California Residents: We do not monitor any opt-out or do not track mechanism, including general web browser “Do Not Track (DNT)” settings and/or signals.

Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA): We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of thirteen through the Site. If you are under 13, please do not give us any personal information. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s internet usage and to help enforce our Privacy Policy by instructing their children to never provide personal information to us. If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 13 has provided personal information to us, please contact us at and we will endeavor to delete that information from our databases.

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time, and will post any changes as soon as they go into effect.
